Question What VST to use for Hip-Hop dance music?

I need to create some techno-hiphop-dance type music. Basically I'm looking for a nice tight rhythm sound. What VST's should I look at buying?

I think you will soon find a whole lot of folks chiming in here in favor of Stylus RMX. You could include me in that bunch already.

Thumbs up Re: What VST to use for Hip-Hop dance music?

    Yup Stylus RMX.

The 'Classic Stylus' group of loops in particular are very well suited to this.

There are also some assorted scratches to be had in the sound menus.

Also worth taking a close look at is GURU:-

We designed it to bring an "MPC-ish" philosophy to software beat creation, and it does it very well indeed -- especially if you've got some pads (MPD-16, Trigger Finger etc.) to trigger it from.
