    Oh the humanity!

I ordered a CME UF8 and this is what I found when I opened the box. At least it looks nice from the front.

You really could use a little more red color in your studio.

That's a good idea! I think I'll paint the white keys red.

    Re: Oh the humanity!

I ordered another one and will send this one back as soon as the new one arrives next week. This board weighs a TON! I am definitely having Fed-ex pick it up when I ship it back to Musician's Friend. At least it works. So far I like it waaaay better than the crappy Keystation Pro-88 that I plan on throwing out in the garbage tomorrow morning. I had 5 keys go bad within the last month. If I thought I could get a little money out of it on E-bay with the bad keys I might sell it. I guess I have 12 hours before the trash comes in the morning to decide.

Jezz.... sexy set up! How big is that monitor?

Are you a pianist and how would you rate the action on your new controller?

Does it have after touch and how is that?

Did you beat it like a cowbell?

    Yes, very nice monitor.

I also bought the UF7 a few weeks ago to replace a Keystation Poor Hatey Hate. 2 notes of the Keystation were sticking and it was impossible to play semiquavers on the same note as the action was too slow. The only way to play hi-hat rhythms was by slowing the tempo right down. Nasty nasty NASTY!

    The UF7 is excellent.

That´s why I always let my wife open the boxes. Sledgehammers work well for most situations in life but they are not very good box openers.
    You´re a drummer, aren´t you?
