    Bagpipes

I need a good bagpipe. Can anyone recommend a sound library that has a bagpipe in it?

    Thanks

    Isn't that an oxymoron.

    Re: Bagpipes

There are many types of pipes....and getting a set with drone and chanter that are separate in programming seems to be essential in what I have been attempting.

I found the Ethno-World compilation to have some merit -- and have had no experience with Ra --as big packages.

I have also used some "wild card" exs 24 sounds that program well together --

But as far as one set -- do not know of any.,

I like Ethno World 3's Uillean Pipes, for medieval and other ethnic pipes check out Early Patches/Banchetto Musicale (www.banchetto-musicale.com) and I have some free german bagpipes at: http://www.herman-witkam.com/raw/

QL Ra has a single set as well as an ensemble - best i've heard.

How does one actually get into your site beyond that first page where the mp3 demos are?

By reading the instructions, which are: sending me an e-mail with "RAW registration" as the subject.

No, the oxymoron would be to ask for an "in tune" bagpipe.
