"Storm and Rainbows" ("Tempesta Ed Arcobaleni"

    All,

This is my "Storm and Rainbows" ("Tempesta Ed Arcobaleni").

All instruments (Steinway piano, strings, flute, oboe and timpani) are GPO.

Tip: Using CC#22 and CC#23 with the timpani really gives it a boost and adds a realistic touch.

    My best to all,

    Larry A.

Some fine piano writing in this, Larry.

For someone who purports to mouse in his compositions, you so often manage to write in a fashion that just "feels good" under the fingers.

Thumbs up Re: "Storm and Rainbows" ("Tempesta Ed Arcobaleni"

thanks for the nice (and perfect) use of Italian in the Title.

There's a special reason for it?

No special reason except for the fact that I am fascinated by the very expressive Italian language. Listening to it being spoken is almost like listening to music itself. It has a rhythm like no other language.

you selected a good (rich in fantasy and expression) piece to put under the Title. Then Thanks again

    Hi Larry!!

What a charming mini piano concerto in a classical style. Bravissimo!! Well executed. The variety of rhythms and harmonies throughout the piano part kept me on my toes as a listener (so to speak).

Very effective use of the timps.
    Love the little coda!!!

    Wello Dunno Signoro!!
