    "Summer Rain"

    Rain Lovers,

Here is my "Summer Rain". All instruments (harpsichord, strings and flute) are GPO.

I used the "plink" sounds of the harpsichord to simulate raindrops spattering on various things, including the top of my semi-bald head.

You can use the flute to good advantage by doubling the strings, especially when they are playing the melodic line.

I hope that you like it.

Nice piece Larry, especially the melody. Now you have me wishing for summer.

I'll tell ya, Larry, I could do with a bit of summer -- even rain; so thanks... lol.

I can't say exactly why, but this seems to have something of an Italian or European feel to it... interesting.

Nice work on this, Larry. I particularly like the way you opened the piece.

Hi, Dahveed. Glad you liked it. Thanks.

I don't know about the European part. I went to Paris, Texas once. Maybe that influenced me.

    Nice one, Lazarico!!
Yup, I see what David means - about 20'' to 40'' I can see some guy in a beret and stripey T-shirt and a string of onions playing this on a zither or accordion whilst riding a bike

Nice work - as all your others! (Sorry I can't comment on 'em all!!)
