    Giga 2.5x piano problem?

    Hello,

I experience an intermittent problem with gigapiano.
Please listen to short sample of problem.
    www.sightsea.com/music/singles/giga_problem.mp3

As you can see the "crap out" noise seems relative to how many notes are sustained at once, since starting over 1 or 2 bars later the noise won't happen.
I'm sure I'm not reaching anywhere near my poly limit as I've run much larger projects that use more polyphony.
There are times when I can sustain many more notes with giga piano also
    and not get this noise.
It only happens on rare occasions and has been happening off and on for years.
I've checked the midi data and there are no strange things there.

    Has anyone heard this before?
    Any suggestions?

Of course a quick pedal off and then back on could do it but I don't think it should be happening in the first place.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hm, it's been so long since I used 2.5 I don't know if it's possible, but in GS3 there is an "alter transition notes for block chords" (or something) that is designed to steal notes if over a certain number are played at once. If you have such a setting, try using a higher number than there is currently. If not, then I can't help you.

I should have mentioned that I've tried many different settings with that and it has no effect at all.

    Thanks anyway,

    Steve
