    NI Kore? (from NAMM 06)

Is'nt this almost exactly the same thing as the Muse Receptor with a bit more hardware?

Re: NI Kore? (from NAMM 06)

Muse Receptor is a hardware module that hosts VSTs.

KORE seems to be a VST host that can be used in plugin format, as well as a librarian and sound editor. It comes with a hardware controller.

    Apples to oranges, I'd say..

Re: NI Kore? (from NAMM 06)

    Just received the forst Kore-E-Mail.
I am very interested because I´m using NI all the time. Have you any further information about the hardware side of the deal? Like own CPU, RAM etc. or is it just an outboard plug for soft synth organization?

    Thanks from Frankfurt

It seems like the hardware is just a controller that is designed exclusively for KORE. I don't think it's actually hosting any plugins or running them. It's not even an outboard piece of gear, it's a MIDI controller.
