An ambient cue using Stylus and Diva

Well, I'm on the Stylus train!! It took a while but man, how can anyone live wothout this. It's one of those brilliant things where thousands of people have it but will never do exactly the same thing with it because it's so infinitely variable. You don't really need to plan where you will go with it; it will take you somewhere.

So, this is a different kind of piece for me. I wanted to try something a bit trancy; something that might go with an animated image of a bullet train with no destination but getting there like a bat out of hell. Or even images from Runaway Train, with that big locomotive tearing through the snowy wastelands. It uses many tracks of Stylus, a vocal (and breathing) played with Diva, GOS (treated more like a synth pad) and a couple other synth plugins. Hope you like it! Criticism is great but go easy- I'm not really an electronica guy

OT: My older Brother is a studio drummer (mainly Philadelphia) and a progressive rock nut. He absolutely loves Darth Tater. He said it's very Kansas/Dixie Dregs. You floored him.

He wanted to know if you are into Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull as well?

    Cool, that's awesome!

I was a Tull freak when I was a kid. Passion Play was the first album I ever bought with my own money. Oddly, I always kinda thought the Heep blew *lol* When I saw Tull on the Stormwatch tour Heep opened up for them. (I was 15- yikes! )

    Hey Fred,
I like it! Very cool with a nice blend to the mix. This could accompany many things (including the Houston 500) lol. Seriously though, good job. I enjoyed it. I've got to get RMX.
