Middle Eastern Stradivarius Demo by Jerry Wickham

Jerry Wickham has done a unique and exotic demo with the Stradivari.

This Arabian song shows the Stradivari in a different context with an Arabian fair.

Excellent and imaginative work Jerry and good mastery of the instrument. Thanks for doing this extraordinary music. Thanks Sean for the name, thanks to the folks in chat for their suggestions and and thanks Robert and DPDan for helping out in the mix.

Wow, a wonderful piece, Jerry! Fantastic job. I love this kind of music.

And another example of how incredible and adaptable the Strad is. Just recently there's been the Irish demo, Fabio's and now this, all completely different and all excellent. I guess if it's violin, in any context, this Strad program can do it and do it great!

Thumbs up Re: Middle Eastern Stradivarius Demo by Jerry Whickham

Congratulations Jerry for the nice and full of fantasy work.

You didn't exceed with portamentos and bending/glissandos, (and the Stradi does it very well) even if the temptation for a middle Eastern piece was probably strong...

the result is equilibrated and expressive, well done.

Jerry, What a delightful piece... so sensual, so expressive. You've really go your fiddle chops down.

    Congratulations,

    Jerry:

Bravo on a brilliant piece and a wonderful display of what the "Strad" can do. Now you're gonna tell me that you did it on your "little Mac" at 512 and 32 (or was it 22)?

If you did, I think the result is even more awesome.

    Really terrific musical presentation, Jerry.

Great. Very expressive. The violin expression does sound quite good, flexible, never repeating. The tone of the violin still is rather, hmmm, digital. But this demo more than the others sounds like a convincing performance.

    Jerry,

Really excellent work, man - as always!

And a nice twist to resolve on a major at the end.
