Brandenburg Concerto 5 - A Stradivari Demo by Fabio

Fabio has done a marvelous demo with the Stradivari Solo Violin:

    http://www.garritan.com/mp3/fabio-Br...Concerto5s.mp3

This concerto was written for flute, violin, and harpsichord and shows the violin within a chamber music ensemble configuration.

    Many thanks to Fabio!

WOW! Amazing work Fabio! (and Happy BDay btw).

I am so looking forward to that Strad in my hands. To make such an expressive instrument with samples is truly amazing. Gary & crew, you guys are magical.

I'm very impressed with the string section. Was that done with GPO or multiple passes of the Strad??

The project is based on the ensamble creation capacity of GPO:

The GPO Solo Vib. Flute and the new exciting Stradivari Solo Violin are the solos.

Violini di Ripieno: a 3 violin section created by the 3 Solo Violins of GPO
Viole di Ripieno: the 3 viola players of GPO
B.C. : 2 solo Cellos + Solo DoubleBass of GPO
    Cembalo concertante: 8' of GPO

The solo strings (if possible the true solo, or for larger needs the ensamble maker players) of GPO are excellent for little string orchestra rendering of Baroque or chamber music. But the surprise is how good is the blending with the expression of the Stradi new library, when all violins play in unison, the effect is really realistic.
(it recreate the effect of some recording trick, where a few real violinist are recorded to add expression to a sampled strings section track. Now you may do it using Stradi instead of real player! The cost for the producer is low and the audio mix is simplified...;-))

I can't wait to hear this. Bach is my favorite, and I'm dying to try my hand at one of the solo violin works once I get my hands on the Strad.

This is a Wonderful rendition, Fabio. You obvioulsy have a grasp of GPO and now the new STRAD. Thanks for letting us hear it. I hope to hear the complete piece rendered by you!
