    NAMM

Anyone got an extra ticket to NAMM this year? I am looking for one.

I'll bet if you ask Gary nicely, he could get you one.

I wonder if we could get a pool for those that would go if they had a ticket (I too would like one but am not a member - but this year I am finally free to go!)

Gary, this is just a polite (I hope) way of asking, "Me too, please..."

    Re: NAMM

Let's start a list for NAMM. I have some tickets available. I'll also check with NAMM and see what other options there are.

Ooooh, NAMM.... sad thing is that I'm actually free to go, but I wouldn't have the money for plan tickets, hotels and the like.... of course if I did have the money, i'm sure I wouldn't have the time to go.... ahhh, such is life I suppose.

Awesome Gary. Definitely put me on that list. I am headed to Macworld the week before and plan to go to Namm if I can get a ticket.

    You need tickets?
    How do you get them?
    OK, I know, dumb question.

    Re: NAMM

NAMM is not open to the public. If it was, it would be more of a mad house than it already is. Think Guitar Center times 1000. You have to be in the business (as in a manufacturer or distributor of gear or software or whatever) to get tickets. I've been trying to go for years but have never scored any tickets.

Companies get an allocation of tickets. I am not sure how they decide how many each company gets.
