"I'll Be Bach" - Larry Alexander

    Fellow MusicMakers,

This is something I wrote this morning while brushing my tooth.

Here is "I'll Be Bach". The title is a play on a line from one of the California governor's movies.

This features the GPO Steinway piano. I also used the "humanize" (Brit. - humanise) function of Kontakt 2.

    Regards,

    Larry A.

    Thanks for your comments.

You could probably find some music theory courses on the internet, maybe for free.

    Very Bach...

    - it's got a bit of a quantized feeling... and the GPO piano isn't particulary dynamic so overdoing velocity-differencies may be an idea...

these are minor comments tho' - I liked the piece.

The "humanize" script feature of Kontakt 2 is supposed to eliminate any appearance of quantization among other things.

Thanks for your suggestion and thank you for listening.

Very good larry. I loved the piece and the sound you got from the Steinway. The reverb is just right.
