    anyone solved the GigaPulse "error closing chunk" problem

    Saving the GigaPulse presets to encoded Gig files is always giving me the same message regardless what's loading in Giga, regardless the size or nature of the giga file, the size of the GigaPulse content etc.

    Is it simply broken in the latest builds?

    Anyone?

    Yes, and has been for a while. Tascam are aware of the issue.

    FWIW!
    It seems Tascam is right on top of this issue.
    I just received a possible solution to overcome the error coming directly from Tascam headquarters! Trying it out and expect the problem is solved.

    Tascam sent me an updated version of the encoder and it works.
    Looks like they will implement this in the next public update.

    One of the restrictions seems that you need to turn off all microphones except nr. 1 when you start the encoder. At least this way the encoding is successful.
