    Unhappy A video for Emergency...

This is a video promo I sent to Emergency (www.emergency.it - an italian humanitarian association for the care and the reinstatement of the victims of the wars and the antiman mines) in order to do something for its activity for the Afganistan Civil war victims.

I wanted to do something for this association and so I mounted my oboe piece
on their video and mail it to them.

This music comes from my heart...

If you want to see it, here it is...
    Emergency for Afganistan

    And here is the music...
    Oboe piece

The italian text says in order:

    - 3_dollars to make a mine
    - 100.000.000_mines still in deposits
    - 1100_estimated years to remove them
    - 1_mine victim every 20 minutes
    - 300.000_childs maimed by mines
    - dedicated to Emergency - Africa Unite

The Video is in wmv format (all I can do).

I hope that one thought of this christmas could be for all the people suffering around the world.

    Best to you all.

    Sincerely,
    Roberto

My gosh, Roberto, this oboe piece is just stunningly beautiful. I am at a loss for words to convey how deeply moving... I am in tears.

You are a master with melodic work, Roberto. There is no question.

And I join with your thoughts:

We have the power to stop suffering.

We have the power to stop starvation.

We have the power to stop disease.

We have the power to stop oppression.

We have the power to stop war.

One of my deepest hopes is that we will all come to our senses and use that power.

I dont know what is wrong with me today. This is the 2nd time I have wept like a child on hearing music at this forum. So much pain in the world, and so much beauty.
Though I am a godless heathen.May I add to the prayers of you and etLux with a simple AMEN.
I cannot type anymore today.I feel as though my heart is bursting.
    regards

The music is very beautiful; absolutely from the heart.

The video is very sad indeed. May God be with those who suffer.

By gosh, Joaz, we certainly can't have the two of us blubbering all over the forum -- they'll ban us.

If only there were some way to get around 6 billion other people to, likewise, herewith, answer AMEN.

Thank you for this wonderful piece. What feeling...it is obviously from the heart. I concur with all the members before me and amen to those who can state it oh so well in your words as well.

    Roberto:

Marvelously done and so descriptive. Beauty is within you and our beloved GPO brings it out. Without our software instruments, we would be listening within ourselves or trying for freedom in some other idiom.

It's so wonderful to have GPO and an opportunity to reveal the music inside of us--to bring happiness, thanksgiving, and a reflective mood to those that listen.

Your music is very beautiful, Roberto and you will never be lonely because of it. It appears that it is your heart and soul--as it should be.

    Roberto,
This is very moving and conveys the deep emotions you feel for these people. The contrast of your beautiful music and the horror of war is enough to make anyone breakdown. Thanks.

    Very moving Roberto.

Your music perfectly conveys the senseless tragedy far more than words alone could ever convey.
