    OT - Careers & Salaries.

    I have an interesting report here on careers & salaries (estimated starting salaries). I don’t have the facilities to copy so I’ll just list a few as follows from “Life 101” The Magazine for College-Bound Students;

    Accountant - $40,293
    Computer Programmer - $48,602
    Dentist - $129,030 - - - (Quite Filling!)
    Electrical Engineer - $52,910
    General Physician - $140,000 - - - (A Cut above the rest!)
    Human Resources Manager - $31,963
    Musician - $36,740
    Public Relations … Wait! Go back one! - - - MUSICIAN $36,740? Someone owes me a heck of a lot of back pay!!
    Sofware Designer - $53,924 - - - (Yeah Right!)

    I'm surprised they even listed musicians as a viable option. Seems maybe there's hope of us being taken more seriously in the future.

    My guess is that refers to a symphony player, with a set number of concerts per year.

    What's the difference between a computer programmer and a software designer? I mean, besides a few thousand bucks.

    Heck, if that's the case, I'd work two musician jobs!

    Don't go to the New York metropolitan region. You could live in a box on the sidewalk for some of these salaries...

    Ahhhhh, Reganomics, what a trend, most salaries haven't kept up with the cost of living since the Eighties.

    "Musician - $36,740"

    If that little dash is a minus sign, then that's about right.
