JABB Soprano Sax 1 sustain issue

The lowest range of Soprano 1 is responding to the Hold Pedal in the traditional "sustain" mode, rather than engaging legato mode. (Or perhaps a "forced polyphony" for the legato is engaged: I haven't attempted to open it in Kontakt to dissect the issue yet.)

    Markleford,

All horns are designed to run, as in GPO, in "MIDI cc" mode 2. Do we have an issue with the default being incorrect after install? Is it defaulting to the "standard sustain" mode 1? Or are you talking about something else?

The notation folder instruments move the "slur" function to cc68 instead of cc64.

    Okay, I rechecked this.

The problem is that this lower range (lowest B and below) is polyphonic instead of being monophonic. The "normal sustain plus MIDI switch" default mode is actually working fine, it's just that the "normal sustain" aspect of it is causing notes to hold and overlap in that one range, when one would normally expect the previous note to be "cancelled" upon new note.

Oh, and it's from the normal folders, not the notation instruments.

Got it. The lowest notes were missing the exclusive group assignment. Now fixed for the update. Same problem fixed in the notation folder version. Thanks.
