Topic: Cajun libraries?

    Cajun libraries?

I'm in need of some authentic-sounding Cajun/Louisiana/Zydeco sounds and loops. I need instrument performances mostly (not so much drums) -- accordions, cajun fiddles/guitars, etc.

I've scoured my known sources for sample libraries and haven't yet found anything other than maybe a "cajun" drum loop or two tucked into a larger sample library. Does anyone know of any good libraries or other sources that might fit the bill?

Eric(?) -- I already have New Orleans Strut. Kudos on making a great drum library! Now all I need are some non-percussion Cajun instrument loops and phrases.

If you got a good sample library with fiddle, accordion etc. you could try and use these Cajun MIDI files as a starting point and edit them to get the sound/melodies you want http://www.accordionman.net/CAJUN/
