My First GPO Creation, 7 hours after arrival

Hi all, my name is Richie and i just purchased GPO. I come from a FruityLoops background, and now i'm proud to be part of this amazing family. It will take some time for me to get adjusted and learn how to use the program, but when i do...When i do...

Please be gentle on any critiques, i really don't know exactly what i'm doing lol.

    Thanks girls and guys.

    Richie,

WAY nice for your first try.

What did you use software-wise? Fruity loops?

Thanks for sharing. Isn't GPO a wonderful tool? Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff as you grow.

    Hi Jerry, and Thankyou.

Yes i've come from a Fruity Loops Background. (Sad Enough, i got all hacked versions, but i can't get what i can't buy) UNTIL i found GPO! At that amazingly affordable $189 I BOUGHT GPO, and i believe it was my best investment EVER made.

It is so amazing that the sounds i hear in my head can now be heard in others' ears. In the next 2 months i will be working on some music for a short film, and an animation pilot. I will definetly keep you all posted on what's going on with that, and with my progress in GPO.

    I feel so happy now.

If you are not able (or really willing) to use the Cubasis program that comes with GPO...............

May I suggest Tracktion? It is one of the most inexpensive DAWs out there and still has LOTS of power and features found in the "big boys".

It is also one of the friendliest apps for CPU and RAM demands.
AND it is one of the easiest to use - once you get the hang of the interface.
I use it for everything I do.

Well Jerry, i actually used Cubase in that piece that i linked above. I had trouble with the Fruity Loops configurations, so now i'm moving to Cubase.

I'll check out Tracktion though! Thankyou!

Nice fanfare and good first piece. This is definitely something to develop to a large scale. Nice hall effect in the reverb. Can't wait to hear more. Welcome to the forum.

A splendid first piece with GPO. I also liked the reverb you used. Very nice work. Is it going to be longer? The end leaves one wanting more!

    Kind Regards
