Cue using RMX (Thanks to Eric and team)

Eric - a belated thank you for RMX. I had a recent project with a ridiculous schedule - particularily on these two cues (Director / editor) were re-cutting as these as I was working other cues. They wanted some 'percussion' but gave me very little time to work on it (this is a fight scene and closing sequence). Probably could have never have done it had it not been for RMX.

Strangely they wanted the perc 'dry' - (I wouldn't have done it that way but it still sounded good to my ears).

Thanks again Eric (from a happy customer.)

    Hi Rob,

Boy, that sounds fantastic. Upon hearing pieces like yours I am still amazed and excited that this stuff can all be done "in the box".

    Nice work, for sure.

    Sincerely,

Thanks Kyle. For Eric and other RMX 'tweakers' it probably is rudimentary. But for me with only a few hours to get the perc tracks down - it was a life saver. Very powerful software.

    Hey Rob,
that sounds very nice. I'd love to know what the orchestral stuff is you're using there....sounds real good. Just curious, if you have a moment...

Very nice work! Really liked this cue.

I'm interested in finding out what kind of vocal sample was that at the very end. It sounds like an ethnic female vocal.

    Good job!

Thanks Rob. It is primarily VSL pro ed.

(regarding the voice - I am also using Atmosphere, but it may be D.R. - can't remember. This project didn't give me a lot of time to audtion and try out things )

I assume D.R is Distorted Reality from Spectrasonics which I think was the best selling sample library of all time.
