Update Cubasis to Cubase SE?

My version of GPO contained Cubasis VST. Can I get a free upgrade to Cubase SE? If so, where/how can I do this. The extra instances would sure come in handy.

I have no idea if Steinber offers a "Free" upgrade to any of their products. I purchased Cubase SE under $100 US. Upgrades usually cost some nominal amount. I would suggest contacting Steinberg and finding out.

I wrote to Steinberg in Germany. They replied by giving me the number for the Swedish company responsible for distrubution here, who then replied that they would gladly upgrade me for a slight more than nominal fee - about half the price of buyiing SE outright.

Why bother upgrading to SE when SE 3 was just released? I contacted Steinberg as well and there is an upgrade from SE to SE3. The price? No information.

Found a site for US upgrades Steinberg.com. Found out one has to purchase a key to use any new products. Price for upgrading was $49.00 plus $29.99 for key. Thought it may interest you.
