    Hello from a forum newbie :-)

    Greetings all,

    This is my first post, as I am new around here. This is nothing more than a hello, and an attempt to see what my sig. looks like….LOL

    I am a musician/composer/guitarist (tho not for a living) and in the interest of bettering myself for the career that I have decided to embark on – which is film and tv scoring – I figured hanging around here wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Plus, I am not new to music, recording and the like, so if there is any advice I can offer to anyone else, be it technical or otherwise, I will happy to help.

    Looking forward to some good threading!

    Cheers.

    Jeff

    Hello Jeff.

    I listened to some of your guitar playing - a whole lot of fun there. All I can say is - Perry Mason.

    As in Ozzy Osbourne.

    Welcome and look forward to some New York rock and tips on guitar sounds and libraries from you Jeff, especially. New York - the greatest city in the world bar none.

    Doesn't the new guy have to buy a round of beers? (or VST's)

    Welcome,

    @Paul - Ok, Ozzy with Zakk....LOL I have no guitar libraries, so I can't help with tips there, but if someone needs a tip with recording guitars the good ol fashioned way, no problem. Here's a tip: Guitar>TubeAmp>Volume on 10>Cabinet>MICROPHONE (gee, what's that?!?!)>Neve pre-amp.

    @Dan - TY!

    @dpasdernick - Yes! Beer Good! But you have to come to me if I am buyin...

    @Theodor - yeah me too!

    @c.k. - Hello! Where's Ridgeway - above me, or on the "other" coast?

    @Andrew - I dunno, have you?
