Let's Hear Your Spookiest Creepiest Halloween Music - The Sequel

It's Halloween time and time again to do another Spookiest Creepiest Halloween Music contest.

Let's hear some or your scariest, creepiest, spine-tingling, phantasmagorical music.

It can't just be spooky - it must be dead frightening and make your hairs stand up on end.

Some tips: Use the GPO organ, harpsichord, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, string glisses, and try adding in some sound effects and screams.

Those who have been frightened to post a demo, here is your chance to haunt the other forum members.

The winner will receive a a free JABB sample library (or other ghastly prize). ..or have their torturous screams be made into a sample library. Muuahahah

Please post your trick or treat. Looking forward to hearing your creepiest. This is going to be a SCREAM!

Mike, of all the jokes you've posted here, that may be your funniest yet!

Well, I'm on vacation in NY and have no MIDI controller, but I was demonstrating GPO to a friend by randomly entering notes in Sonar and it ended up sounding like a horror film soundtrack, so maybe I'll try to build on that. If nothing else, it may qualify for the "worst demo ever" contest!

    Ooooooh!!
Organ, harpsi, bass clari, contralto clari, string glisses, I can make some wiked noises on my cello, flute, and violin. (not so sure about the bassoon)
    COOL!!!!

    I mean,

    Scary...

I'll try. Maybe when I stop getting homework and stop having to practice and stop having to do my chores and stop having to go to school and stop having to get a new computer I can whip up something good.

    -Chris

BTW: I'd be happy to email anyone who wants MP3's of my weird instrument noises. Some of them are really cool (especially the cello! ).

Here's one that my brother did last Halloween. He's just a lurker, so I'm going to post it for him.

    Gary,

Whoever won last year's Spookiest Music contest? I entered but I never heard anything about who won.
Is it okay to enter the same piece again this year?

Any time frame for this? Halloween is just a few days away but I won’t have any time to even think about writing music for about a week.

I did, however, post a little Halloween ditty in the worst demo contest thread. If nothing else I could use it – it is so bad it is scary.
