    Thanks Tony.
This is interesting. So, does this give the music industry more control over copy issues / piracy? Arrrrrrr, shiver me limburger.
Ya thank sample libraries and other media will one day find its way into the flash card rehlm? Or, will Gary be the first to offer GPO in a happy meal?

No, the GPO superhero action figures are what's going in the Happy Meal.

The sound libraries will be in specially marked packages of breakfast cereal.

The cereal will employ nano-technology embedding.

Thus, your sample player will be able to detect the presence of the authorization code in your system. Should your breakfast habits change and you abandon the authorizing cereal, the player will detect the change in your body chemistry and will no longer allow playback of the samples.

You will also get a severe case of the trots.

This will prevent nefarious users from attempting to contain the authorizing nanos by eating too much cheese.

Oh, and I forgot to mention...

To avoid DAW 'contamination', the same IDs used to authenticate your samples will also disable your ability to visit the websites of other sample companies or unauthorized vendors.

Attempts to purchase or use their products will result in severe abdominal cramping, followed by blackout periods of increasing length if the unsanctioned activity is not discontinued.

Any volunteers for the Beta test?
