    Fancy a Mariachi Trumpet? :)

Provided you needed a mariachi trumpet for a project, how much would you be willing to pay for something that could sound like this?

Yeah it sounds good Thomas. What is it all about?

    Is this a sample?
I would pay 120$ for a trumpet sampled like that.

I used to be into Mariachi trumpet, but I found that the brush-on paint stripper works better and is a lot quieter.

For me, it's getting rid of the Mariachi trumpets that's more of a challenge. In Dallas, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Mariachi band.

It's a sampled trumpet played in realtime - still in the beta phase (some sketchy long notes here and there).

Uhmmmm, nice! $120 sounds good for it... Actually I'm not sure what you did for noise reduction, but I'd not go so harsh on that... it sounds like it was made of differently encoded mp3 material for the raw samples somehow to me.

I'm not really the one to talk to about this tho

Aight maybe $99 since it is a pretty specialized library (useless as a solo trumpet in orchestral settings). No noise reduction (I would never ) , but the 128kbps mp3 encoding has probably taken its toll on the raw wave as there's a lot of high freq. stuff in these fff samples. Thanks guys. I just had to do this as I have (had ) yet to hear a sampled mariachi trumpet.

Sounds really nice! Played in realtime you say? That's even better! I'd happily pay $100, maybe more.
