    Using Standalone K2 corrupts plugin!

    This is weird.

If I open Kontakt-2 as a standalone and load and play some instruments, then the next time I try to open a Sonar-5 project containing Kontakt-2 softsynths, Sonar CRASHES on opening.

I can only open the Sonar project if I do it in Safe Mode (Shift-S on open), and tell it not to load Kontakt.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

    Hi Glenn,

I'm still on S4.0.3 but I noticed if I changed the output setup while useing K2 in Sonar as a VSTi and save Sonar , when I tried to reload that particular Sonar program it would crash.

Also, I've read that if you delete any samples or rename an Instrument/multi that is part of K2 in a Sonar program then Sonar will crash if you try to load it.

Here are some threads from the Sonar forum concerning Sonar-5 and K2.

Thanks for the tips. I am going to look at those pages now.

I sure hope this gets fixed in an upcoming patch soon!
