Newer Kontakt player more Mac CPU efficient?

I have the GPO and Virtual Grand piano stand alone versions that use the Kontakt player loaded together, both with a dry grand piano. Though VGP should take more CPU because it is a larger instrument it uses less than half the CPU than the GPO Grand. I hope this means that the Kontakt player has been tweaked and that GPO will also show this improvement in it's next player update.

Let us hope so. I have a Dual processor G4, 1.42GHz. Although it works well in general, I feel the limits of the system when comes the time of tutti even without reverb.
