    Thumbs up Re: String Quartet

Ah, where are the words? I think awesome is even less than explanatory of your work. How about simply YES! Yeah, I like that ... YES!
"not perfect" he says ... funny.
    You attain very nice dynamics!

    Very nice Matt!

    This is really nice!
Don't worry, who is able to get the perfection?

    Re: String Quartet

    Matt,
I'm speachless. This is exceptionally good. It's very introspective and penetrating. As I listen it sounds like it could be one of the the late Beethoven quartets. I'll be looking for the rest of this.
Never look at the trombones. It only encourages them. Richard Strauss

    What do I think?

Personally, I try to listen to the music, not the recording technique (though that seemed quite good, to me).

And what I think is, you've written a fine piece for string quartet -- well thought out, well developed, and well executed... solid handling of nuance, color, dialogue, balance and contrast.

Simply aside from which, I like it... lol.

Matt, I would very much like to hear the remaining movements of this!

    Best,
