    "Study In 12/8"

    Y'all,

This is my "Study In 12/8" featuring the GPO Steinway piano and the Kontakt 2 Convolution Reverb.

I wanted a crisp, almost metallic piano sound but I obviously didn't achieve it. The reverb setting is the Kontakt 2 preset "piano reverb". It doesn't sound very good in my not so humble opinion. I didn't change the equalization (Brit. - equalisation) settings on the piano but perhaps I should have.

The Convolution Reverb is a CPU hog!

    Regards,

    Larry A.

That's nice Larry...I particularly liked the changes around 2:00.

Also a very economical rhythm too in that you could equally well dance a very fast Walt's (Waltz USA.) or a foxtrot......all during the same piece. Great idea!

I included the Brit spelling in my message just for your benefit.

    Larry,
I was amazed from the first note. This is great. Your writing, as always, is superb and the sound you got from the piano was excellent. Well Done!

Thanks from one "club-player" to another.

    What is your principal instrument?
