    AVBunyon,

Nick is correct. GPO Lite is included in Finale 2006.

We will soon be releasing a separate GPO Lite product which will have basic instrumentation. We are thinking of an introductory price of less than $149.
We'll post more about GPO Lite soon.

Thanks Gary - nice of you to respond - my needs are simple - It appears that most folks here use your fine PO to do large-scale orchestrations - My need is for just a few of basic orchestral instruments to sound real (piano, vilions, cellos, flutes, a horn, trumpet, etc.). It appears that the Lite will more than do what I need.

Thanks again - I trust the Lite will be available soon!!!

This is a mystery to me. People keep calling me Nick or Nicky or Nicki or Niki. Anything but Nickie actually. Is it the old cliché about women not knowing anything about computers? I hope not - after all, we are living in the 21st century.

My name is Nickie Katharina Fønshauge. Obviously "Nick" is anything but correct.

    OOPS!

I guess the assumption is that most of us sample-geeks are male! Well, there you are - never make assumptions!

    Hi Nickie

At risk of thread drift, I had a similar name experience. Mine is Dermod Hill. Years ago, having missed the military experience, I decided to join the reserve Territorial Army as a private soldier in a medical unit. (After all, Vaughan Williams had been a sergeant in one). From the start, everyone from the commanding officer down, fell into the habit of calling me Dermod. I thought that was very democractic and admirably informal. Until, in the fulness of time,by when I msyelf had been had promoted to sergeant, one day a young recuit who had been chatting to me during a field exercise suddenly said, Hey Dermod, what's your first name? As a sergeant, I have to say, I was not best pleased.

Sorry Nickie. My mistake for using a slang. There are so many aliases and screen names and I appreciate your using your real name.

Exactly! It's Gary's PO - although I confess I am developing proprietary feelings towards it. It's so great.
