Conflict between Maestro Tools and Giga Studio 3

    Hi guys,

I hope you can help me on this one.

I seem to have a conflict between Giga Studio 3.0.2 and Maestro Tools 2.7.
If I install Maestro Tools on a clean system it works fine. If I install GS on a clean system it also works fine, but when I install and run those two programs togéther, they don't!

In Maestro Tools all midi inputs are set to "none" with no other options in the dropdown menu. However, if I don't install GS, I can choose all the midi inputs my sound device has to offer.

In GS, I get the message: "Giga Studio did nog startup properly, do you want to run Giga Studio in Diagnostic mode?" My Midi ports are greyed out and I don't hear anything. However, if I don't install Maestro Tools, everything works fine!

It doesn't matter in what order I install them, or start them up.

The soundcard I use is RME Digiface with the latest firmware and drivers installed. I'm working on a Windows XP Pro SP 2 system.

I'd love to pop a bottle of champagne with the one who's able to help me!

    what kind of champagne?

try saying "yes" to the do you want to run diagnostics, then look at your midi in selections (in gigastudio). They should all be set to "none". That may fix the problem ... or it may not!
