    Web services

Normally I'd think this was out in left field, but given the number of techies we have here I thought I'd ask just for grins.

If there were web services available for the Composer Channel (composer bios, song info, schedules, etc.), would anyone here consume them?

And no, you can't take the 5th. I've already consumed it.

Oops. Sorry, I should've been more clear. By web services, I'm speaking of a particular kind of technology that web programmers use, allowing the developer of a web site to access programmatic functionality provided by other sites via this type of API.

So, essentially, I'm wondering if those here who develop web sites would access this type of technology for the purposes I mentioned.

    hmmm interesting....

Can you give some use cases on how this might play out? Some real world examples in terms of what a user or app designer may see, and how this would benefit them?
