    earsplitting noise from k2?

Getting used to kontakt2 and using it more -- but it has done something almost unforgiveable a few times: an incredibly loud electronic noise comes out -- I think after getting a few too many voices playing simultaneously (built up by those long long ewqlso releases). Anybody found this, and anyone know how to prevent it from happening again?

Hey Gugliel.. Ive never encountered that ..even with all mics in Platinum. But one thing you might try is increasing (or decreasing) the max voice limit on the inst. itself (seperate from the DFD reserved voices.). Ive had dropouts from not having it set high enough on large polyphonic projects..Best, Rich

Sounds like a DFD error. When you're loading samples with DFD on, be careful that you're not doing/running anything else. Often times if the loading gets interrupted (even if it says it has completed normally), you'll get glitches like this.

Also.. DFD dosnt like page filing (VM ) on your C:/ drive and HT is not recomended with the Kompakt players(though ive not had a problem with that yet, either..)

I Know this is a little too simple gugliel, but make sure your not overdriveing you "outputs" whether it be in you Sequencer, K2, or Audio Card.
