    A new peice: Midnight

Hi. For once I have some music which isent owned by anyone else than me

So for once I can share... its a 1:30 minute demo peice which a producer has asked for. He wanted a sample for some fantasy stuff.

    Anyway, here it is...

Obviously more tweaking could be done.. but isent that always the case?

I've noticed that whatever I do, it seems to need more. It's the nature of synthesised music, I guess.

Anyways, that's really beautiful as is. Are the orchestral parts vsl?

I'd like to hear the beginning of the choral section (before it goes breifly quiet) a little more filled out....more inner voices, and/or thicker orchestration.
But maybe that was one of the things you had in mind.

    Nice work!!!

I liked this… the orchestration at the beginning was very nice!

The choral section was great too.. but a little overpowering.

What choral samples did you use?

Thanks. Yes, its the choir peice that I spent the least time with. I did not have enough time to get it right since the producer needed a sample of some fantasy work fast... and while I could use some time perfecting it, I would rather get on with my current gig

Marcussen, I liked this, especially the first part. I liked the treatment of the sax (or is an 'ethnic' wind instrument)? If it is a sax which one is it?

    Cheers

Thanks Frank.. yes it does sound a bit like a Sax. It is however a Duduk played in its lowest register
