Iraqis are dying at a rate of 800 a month, and that's not including American and Iraqi soldiers (who are also human). It's official: this is a failed policy.

So then....WWII with 405,399 U.S. troop deaths was what? An EXTREMELY failed policy??????????

    Amazing.

That is so horribly sad. Man, I've gotten to the point that I avoid the news as much as possible because every time I read what's going on, it just wrecks my mood. Reading that worked like a charm...now I'm bummed out again after almost a full day of really Optimistic Cheeriness®.

If Iraq had attacked Pearl Harbor, then we would have been in the right to go to war with Iraq and its allies.

Thousands have died due to a war of choice - a very deadly choice.

No, it was self-defence, as opposed to outright aggression.

There was a time when people knew the difference.

Er, the article does say that the 8,700 iraqis in question were killed by insurgents. Since when has it been our policy to allow insurgents to kill innocent iraqis?
