    Who said this?

Alright Styxx, you really threw me the other day with the "nose in the book penalty". I thought I was the only one who remembered that. It was some dog cartoon or something and he actually had to lay his nose in a book and get it slammed shut.

So...you're so smart...who said this many moons ago:

"Awound and awound the wagged wocks the wugged wascals wan"

    That was a great episode!

It's sounds like Elmer J. Fudd but I am not quite sure. OK, you got me ... I know when I am licked ... all over!

Well, one who said it was Mr. Wilberforce Claiborne Humphries, of BBC TV's long-running sitcom "Are You Being Served" said it as a quote, with about four marbles in his mouth while practicing his pronunciation and articulation.

I believe it was from the 3rd Series in an episode called "New Look".

I don't remember Yosemite Sam ever saying it though. Hmm.

Well, it also doesn't hurt that I cherish all 80 episodes on 2 DVD sets either. So there. Nyah!

Finally got back around to this thread.

I believe I remember hearing Tweety Bird saying this. The problem is that I can't verify it without some serious effort, but it does seem to fit his character and inability to pronounce the letter "r". For all I know, it might have even been in a comic book of Tweety. Ah my wasted childhood.

Anyhoo...just thought I'd throw that out there.
