    Washington's March

Here's my entry in the Patriotic Music contest.

    Washington's March

This is my orchestration of a piece written by an anonymous American composer, first published in a Philadelphia magazine in 1784.

    Great Job, Don!!!!!
You achieve a great sound here, in particular starting from 0:45.
GPO sounds as a real orchestra here so you have done a beautiful GPO orchestration.
    Only my congratulations.
Lookig forward to hear more of your music.
    Sincerely,
    Roberto

    Nice work, Dan.

I can't quite pinpoint why, but the mix on this... struck me as particularly strongly "real" in a number of places. Did you do any slight tinkering with tuning on this? Or maybe it's the variation in GPO brass...

    In any case, most enjoyable!
