    Cool 4th july Competition piece

    Here is my Patriotic entry for the 4th July comp.An arrangement of "Go Down Moses"(American Spiritual).Style Miles Davis and Gil Evans.Full Instrument list on the main Forum.

    If you sound this good with the standard GPO instruments I can't wait to hear what you could GPBig Band!

    That's the first time I've heard someone use GPO to do a piece reminiscent of Miles and Gil Evans projects. Good stuff.

    Thanks Tom.When I eventually get the Jazz Lib,(By contest or wallet )I was thinking of maybe reworking this arrangement using the new lib.It could be a great way of showing the added value of the new sounds. Plungers on the trombones,Harmon mute for the lead,etc etc.
