There was but I gather there isn't now. I believe that Gary might leave this to Francis.

    Frank

PS To fill this gap I bought the 'economy' Soundscan Choirs http://www.dv247.com/invt/13664 and nearly bought Prosamples Choirs too with my EWQL points http://www.dv247.com/invt/14526 !

Well, that's cool. i think what Francis has going is really nice stuff.

I guess psychologically the GPO idea feels like a package. It feels like the tools to put together an ensemble in one purchase.

And the Jazz big band will feel the same I'm sure. It's just really smart packaging.

So I guess that's why i thought about asking. A single product recorded in a similar setting with similar programming...basically consistency.

can someone please post samples or demos of ANY choir that is out there, I am considering getting one now because I did not know synth choirs existed, but I want to know how real they sound and if they really are worth it?

    Re: Garritan Personal Choir

It is our understanding that there will be a GPO choir at some point in time. We even spoke about the possibility of Bela D acting as an advisor on said project. Just know that when there is a GPO choir - it will be as fabulous as any other Garritan product. The Giovani Edition is not the GPO Choir replacement and is another animal all together.

Bela D Media will consider offering GPO users a special discount on The Giovani Edition if there is enough interest.
