Where can I find a good Celesta?

I have been looking around for days now trying to find a good Celesta and can't seem to unless it is bundled with a ton of stuff I don't need. I was waiting for the EWQLSO Pro upgrade for one but since that has been delayed I need to find one. As far as I can tell the only way you can get one is in a lib like VSL's Mallets or SAM True Strike but I have more percussion stuff than I can handle already and don't feel like thowing $325+ for a single instrument. The one that X-Sample sounded a bit too harsh. ANY ideas here? Thanks,

    James

Donnie Christan has a downloadable Celesta. It sounds great (he's a bit of a Kook it would seem around these forums, but the guy makes nice sounding libs, and my dealings with him have been great). Get it here:

I dont' know how it compares to the DC one mentioned above, but it's also very iinexpensive ($25).

Absolutly, both very nice! If you have the money you could look into Truestrike from SAM. The celesta seems excellent, but the lib's very pricey if you are only intersted in getting the celesta.

I think the one that comes with GPO is very nice and fits in well in several demos I've heard

Funny, his libraries are available in the GS format, but the downloadable instruments are not. And I was interested in the flute! Luckily I saw this in time before I pulled me Visa out of me wallet.

Write him and ask about it. He may have some done up in Giga.
