    "M i s t y" (My Arrangement)

    Y'all,

This is my arrangement of the Errol Garner song, "M i s t y". It is a re-post. Perhaps some newer members of this forum have not heard it because I initially posted it a year ago. I have also done a considerable amount of tweaking of the file since I first posted it.

    Best regards to all,

    Larry A.

    Larry,
Very impressive. You do have class. Seriously, it's exceptional. I pictured myself in a New York night club sucking down Martinis. Nice work.

There were two times in my life when I was a full-time "Lounge Lizard". The second time was with my wife. We had a lounge duo act called "Tambre". I had several hours of sequenced music. . . mostly standards. My wife sang. I would pound out keyboard solos sequenced arrangements while she sat and drank her ice water. "Misty" was one of my favorite songs for us to perform. Probably played it hundreds of times. Never got tired of it. Still love to listen to this song.

Very, very nice arrangement, Larry. Loved your piano solo. Brought back some very pleasant memories. . . . (sigh)

Larry, the bride and the groom have left the building! The inlaws want another set before the evenings over. Soak 'em another couple of hundred!
This is nice! A lot like Johny Mattress rendition.

Johnny Mattress has always been one of my favorites along with Elvin Parsley.
