    Red face My Original GPO

After I have posted here my Oboe piece, I went to my old files and I have found the original composition where in my first GPO piece I had put the Oboe piece (somewhere in the sky).
So here is the whole file.
I am afraid that is too long, but I wanted to post it as it is, because it is a memory...
I know that it will be not so good, but it has been the first I have scored with GPO.
Thank you in advance, my community,
    Roberto

Wonderful! I love this piece. It is uplifting and serene. What else are you hiding? I, for one, would love to hear more of your files.

Congratulations Beach on another work of great beauty. You have a great natural gift for melody. Nobody can teach this.
Melody has become rather under-used lately,in these groove-hungry, high production value times. But your music restores melody to its rightful prominence.I continue to be impressed with your writing.Great Work !!

    Roberto,
the day when you will be annoyed by chromosomas dissection, and finally will be a musician, just let me know...

If you are so able doing some secondary work like music and basket, I can't imagine your skills in your main Biologist job!

    Ciao,

    Fabio

    Val, thanks for kind comments.

Joaz, you are right I love to write some line melodies, because I prefer this "kind of music".
    Thank you very much.

Giga love, thank you for listening it.
I have used GPO Ambience cathedral with some modifies.

    All my best to you,
    Roberto

    Fabio,
    just let me say that I will be never a musician as you are. You have academic knows that I don't have;
you write music like Exultate that is only in my dreams.
I am waiting to change my life. I have until february (when my job here in Italy will end) and then my life probably will changes.
So I don't know how will be the basket, but I hope to preserve the hobby of the music.

    My best regards to you,
    Roberto

    Re: My Original GPO

Roberto, this is SUCH a beautiful, wistful and soulful piece. As everyone says it has a lovely melody and for me a breath of Celtic melancholy which transports me to the Scottish countryside. Others, no doubt, will have their own fond space, a place, or experience which they yearn for in their memory, and they will be carried there by this piece.

Beautifully produced too. I wish we could hear more of these original and satisfying pieces on our radios. They cut straight to beauty (or whatever mood the composer is aiming at) and are not too demanding of time.

    regards

    Frank
