Mozart, Flute & Harp Concerto, 2nd Movement

After computer problems for the last couple of weeks I'm back at it. This is the second movement of Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto, K.299. My Mom requested this several months ago and now that I have GPO I took a shot at this beautiful piece. Comments welcome. Sorry, I didn't have cadenza.

    Well, valhalx,
what a relaxing piece you have well GPO reorchestrated!!!!
Just a bit of 'verb and this piece will be fantastic.
    my congrats.
i don't know if you have my feeling, but GPO flute V is one of the best flute I have heard in sampled libraries!!!!
I have great hopes in GPO advanced!!!!

    Roberto,

Thanks and thanks. Thanks for the compliment and for the suggestion to increase the "verb". I tweeked it up just a tiny bit and replaced the file. I've been to your wonderful country (Sicily, Naploli and Roma). Where are you located?

I'm extremely impressed by your GPO version of this piece. I've played this Concerto (I'm a flautist) uncountable times before and I know it like it's part of me. The GPO flute is better than any other sample library's flute in my opinion. If I can be so bold as to make one suggestion: I think you can make the legato a bit more connected, perhaps by overlapping the notes ever so slightly, together with the legato function.

    I loved this. Thanks.

    Kind Regards

    LouisD,
Thanks for the feedback. I was busted once before on sloppy legato. I'll re-tweek it tomorrow and post it. It's good to get input like this. I was concentrating on so many other aspects of the piece I neglected the simple things like legato and "verb". Thanks again.

You know - this is one of my favorite Mozart pieces. It is interesting that these two instruments were not his favs. But you couldn't tell that.

    Nice work! totally! Impressive.

    valhalx,

Being a harpist I am very familiar with this piece. I must say you did an extraordinary job. I listened twice and savored every note. I think any tweaks would be minor.

Excellent rendition. Would you mind if this gets posted on the GPO demo page?

I am looking forward to hearing more .

this whole concerto is under-respresented in the world of mozart...arguably the most lyrical piece to come out of the classical period...excellent rendition!

    Val,
I am very impressed. You found the right balance between the two solo instruments and the orchestra. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

    valhalx,
    congrats again for the piece!!!
I am located between Parma and Cremona. You have to consider that I have never been to Rome despite I am 27.
    Best regards,
