That was the most unreal European Cup final I've ever seen - period. And I've seen a few.

Well done Liverpool - incredible to come back from that. What a great game and not to forget Milan - very unfortunate. That's football.

Amazing to watch that - and I guess all England was supporting Liverpool tonight - even Tottenham supporters. Wow! Carragher was just amazing. Very tough guy.

Liverpool keep the Cup forever now - won it five times - so they'll have to make a new cup.

Arrggh, I was going to Tivo the game and I forgot. (It was live on ESPN2)

    Oh well, congrats Liverpool.

Weird thing is, I'm in the breakroom at work the other day and I run into this guy wearing a Liverpool jersey. American accent, mind you. Turns out he was a military brat and had spent his youth in England.

I think he was impressed that I asked him about being a Liverpool fan as opposed to 'so who's Carlsberg?'. (For those that don't know, in European futbol in order to know who the team is you have to know who the sponsor is. And they call us Americans greedy capitalists! )

    It's definitely a beer.

If you say it's Danish, I'll take your word for it, Ern.

Carlsberg Special Brew - bottled variety. Drink ten bottles of that - and there'll be no green bottles hangin' on the wall - the next morning. That is major league laughing gas - probably the best lager in the world.

Not that I drink lager of course.

Actually, I don't drink lager Layne - Jack Daniels and 'whikskey'.

I see that the USA are playing England tonight at the Chicago Soldier Field Stadium. So that should be fun watching Erikson change the England team every 30 seconds.
