    My latest experiment

Hey, all. It's been quite a while since I've posted anything, so here's a 30-second preview of what's to come later.

It's rather like the film music of Yoko Kanno and Joe Hisaishi (of Mononoke fame). I also gotta give props to our very own Jared Hudson, who wrote a similar-sounding piece that really got me started on this. Have fun!

It did sound familiar, though I'm not sure whether or not I've heard of the composers you mentioned. Regardless, it's very enjoyable work, but simply too short! The pizzicato sounded especially nice!

Thanks, guys! You really motivate me to finish the piece. Unfortunately, finals are coming up... But then, summer! Oh ho ho, this summer will be awesome, compositionally...

    Chris,

Splendid work! The beginning is the pizz! Wish it didn't end so soon and I hope you do more work on it and post some more.

    Good luck with your finals!

ACK! What!?!?! 30 seconds???? I want more!! (I can be so whiny :P).

This is fantastic. There's so much life and energy in it. I've listened to it three times (that's 1 min 30 ) and I'll probably listen to it many more times in anticipation of the rest .

    Fabulous work, Chris.
