Problem loading Bose & Black Grand into K2?

Is anyone having this problem on a Mac w/ Kontakt 2. If I try to load
the Bardstown Audio Bosendorfer or Black Grand Pianos into Kontakt, it starts to search and then comes up with an error message saying "unsupported file format." I've tried updating the drive (database) and still get this error!

The files are .nki files, so I don't know what the problem is. They load into Kontakt 1.53 fine. If anyone has any suggestions, please give me some feedback!

    TIA,

    Tom

    Hi Tom.

No problem loading BG into K2 here. Just did a double-check.
Have you got the latest K2 patch?

    Hi Worra:

Yes, I'm running v. 2.01. I have a feeling that when I ran Disk Warrior
and Tech Tools to optimize my disk that they did something to those files.
Some of the BG instruments load while others get this error message
    of "unsupported format..."

    Thanks,

    Tom

Can you give me an example of a file that loads and one that doesn't, and I'll double-double-check!

I'm finding that both the BG Medium Ambient, and Ambient files load, but the Close files don't.

Ok, just did a double-double check and loaded Black Grand Close 1 into K2, worked great.
Try copying the samples to your harddisk from the original DVD again for this perspective and see if this helps.

    Hello Worra:

I just reinstalled the original files from the BG Close DVD and it looks like that solved the problem! I still think that maybe Disk Warrior corrupted the files somehow because I stopped it in the middle of its optimization.

    thanks,

    Tom

Any change with the Bardstown? I haven't upgraded to K2 yet but a co-composer who has says it takes a lot longer to load now. Have you encountered this?

Re: Problem loading Bose & Black Grand into K2?

Tom, who started this discussion, informed me that the Bardstown Bosendorfer is now loading properly into Kontakt 2 after he reinstalled the Bosendorfer from the CD disks. Apparently the Bosendorfer files in addition to other instrument files on his hard drive got corrupted when he used Disk Warrior and other similar utility programs in order to de-frag his hard drives. Personally, I have never found the need to use any of these utility programs on a Macintosh since Mac OS 8.

The Bardstown Bosendorfer loads very quick into Kontakt 2 for me on both Macintosh and PC... faster than Kontakt 1.5.3.
