    Port error (-9997)

After having formatted my PC and reinstalled everything, I installed GPO
    again and had some problems.

After I start GPO Studio, the following windows appear:

    Garritan Personal Studio V1.2
    -
SB AUDIGY 2 ZS ASIO [A000] (DUPLEX)
Port error (-9997): Invalid Sample Rate
    -
    ERROR
    Unable to initialize port driver
    -
    MAJOR APPLICATION FAULT
    Access Violation
    -

After every error I have to click OK, then the next comes.
After the last one, GPO Studio shuts down, and Microsoft wanting me
to send to logfile to them.

    I have
Windows XP on my system, a AMD Athlon 2,8 with 1 GB Ram
and a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS

I had no problems working with that combination, but after the
reinstallment of everything, I guess something is wrong.

I mean, I guess the sample rate is wrong in GPO Studio, but I´m
not able to change it, as the software shuts down.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for your help and all best,
    -Harald

    Harald,
Go to "Settings > Preferences" in Studio and make sure the sample rate is correctly set for your Audigy (44.1 or 48 probably)

    See also http://northernsounds.com/forum/show...highlight=9997

If GPO Studio Crashes at startup due to invalid sample rate, it is possible
that your system is in a locked state, This is a known bug in GPO Studio 1.2, and it only occurs when GPO Studio is closed after a driver reported "invalid sample rate" and was left that way. (if you choose another driver which works before closing this bug doesnt occur)

so the only solution is to delete the
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Garritan Personal Orchestra Studio\device
    key and restart the application.
