    "Harp and Harpsichord"

    Yo, y'all,

Here is my short composition, "Harp and Harpsichord" in E minor, featuring GPO chromatic harp KS and harpsichord KS.

    I'm just stringing you along.

    Regards,

    Larry A.

This is great Larry. Could have been from a Bach suite ! I love the counterpoint. Not a frequently heard combination of instruments, I'm surprised at how well they work together.

My goodness! Thanks very much, Louis.

I suppose they work well together because they are both "plucked" instruments - the harp with the fingers and the harpsichord with little plectrums.

    My best,

    Larry A.

A delightful piece, as usual! A unique instrument combination (I think), but it still works great, especially with your almighty counterpoint powers! I'm happy to add this to my Larry G. Alexander collection. Thank you for sharing!

You have an LGA collection? Wow, I'm being collected!
Thanks, Sean. That's very flattering. It's also very encouraging!

    Larry,
I admire your ability to combine any instruments and make any emotion or style come out of it. The harpsi is more bright and the harp more mellow. The harpsi more boroque and the harp more classical/romantic. You made them blend very nicely.
    Great peice!
