Question "One Step Beyond" - Who did the music?

OK all you movie and Television score writers. During the late 50's and into the 60's there was a series on TV that was a bit like the Twighlight Zone and it had the weirdest haunting theme. I can't find it anywhere so I fingered I would ask you prozaksiens of the TV score idiom genre type kinda kinky thingy wang dang doodle! All night long, yeah....

Oh, what do I want it for? For a while.

I think you're looking for Harry Lubin, who also wrote for "The Outer Limits" and "Zane Grey Theater".

It was indeed Harry Lubin. There was a third theme (best of all) besides the two posted above. I think of it as the "revelation" theme. It always started when the strange punch line to the story was delivered. It gets my vote as the most haunting theme I've ever heard - when I was a kid it gave me chills every time it occurred. By the way, many of the old "One Step Beyond" episodes have been re-released on DVD (VCI Entertainment #8355). They're great fun to watch (as fiction, not as the true stories they purport to be). I pull them out every few months just to hear the music.

Quite possible but unfortunately because of mother dial up herself (AOL) I couldn't open the files.
    I appreciate it regardless.

I was able to get on and download the music, thank you. It was what I was looking for. Aside from all the popups and Congratulations garb, it was a pretty cool site.
The reason for my inquiry was over a discussion on the music and if it was indeed different from the Twighlight Zone.

    Thanks again.
