If I could change me in the 80's I would have spent more time with classical and less with pop.

I wish I'd learnt to play the volin or cello at the same time as piano and harpsichord.

I wish learnt some Theory when i had the chance ( Guitar lessons, Piano lessons and School ) But i was too lazy each time ( Still am )

I always imagine myselfsitting in front of the piano and playing some of my favorite Tchaikowsky pieces reading in real time

I would not have been so lazy praticing as a kid. And I would have started drumming when I was 10. If I had I'd be Simon Freakin' Phillips by now

Wish I'd kept playing guitar instead of buying that stupid synth.

Also, wish I hadn't blown off that one guy who was going to pay me to write some music for him.

More time, when younger, working on sightreading skills.

Re: What would you change in your Music life ?

While I don't regret spending so much time studying classical guitar (and later, viola da gamba), I do regret never devoting much time to playing keyboard - especially now that I spend so much time working on music in my sequencer.

I'm slowly getting better on keyboard as I spend more time writing music in my sequencer, but to speed things up I really should get off my ~~~ and go take some piano lessons.
