    Theme from Dr. Who Question

Been ka-noodling around with this to do an orchestral version of Ron Grainer's famous electronic theme. Right now its scored for woodwinds, brass w/ piccolo trumpet solo lines, harp and strings...do you think I should included some non-GPO electronics or electric bass/guitar or something? Or FX? Would very much be in keeping with the soul & history of the piece. My main question is this: are there any good FX (free/nonroyalty) to recommend?

Thumbs up Re: Theme from Dr. Who Question

How about doing both? Would be interesting to hear and compare.

Here it is, using GPO mixed with a really, rather basic bass synth sound, but I think the "retro" feel is appropriate. I also added in the famous TARDIS original sounds.

Oh it also features occasional bad mixing...

By the scarf of Tom Baker! Most excellent, LOL!! Seems a little quick but I may be remembering it wrong and UKGold amazingly aren't showing it right this minute! :-)
